A warm and welcoming community of faith serving the North-End of Halifax, we are called to glorify God and witness to the grace of our LORD and Saviour Jesus Christ through word and deed.  The folks at Knox Presbyterian Church have faithfully witnessed to the Gospel since its formation in 1928. Knox has been described as being like “a country church in the heart of the city”.  You are always welcome.

Knox Presbyterian Church is a member congregation of The Presbyterian Church in Canada and as such, we uphold the beliefs and practices of the National Church.  Founded in 1928, we have worshipped at several locations in Halifax since then. Click here for an historical sketch of Knox.

Under Christ, the church’s King and Head, the Bible is the central doctrinal standard by which our faith is founded and nurtured, testifying to Christ, the living Word, and is the foundation of our subordinate standards Living Faith and the Westminster Confession of Faith.

We live out our faith extending the hand of fellowship, serving God through mission here in Halifax and throughout the world. In all things we seek to glorify God and do His will every day.
